Every year we award one member with the Most Improved Member Award. When the committee discussed this award, each of us said the same name, Zachary Ready. Congratulations Zach.

 

Next, we presented the Silver Wand Award Plaque to: Perry Vath, Bill Metsch, Bill Monroe, and Zachary Ready. These are the members who go above and beyond by performing at every meeting, volunteering for club events and positions within our club.

 

The Gold Wand Award Plaque was then awarded to Beau Broomall and Javier Arrillaga. These two members do so much for our club, it would take a full page to tell you all what they do.

 

Bill Metsch was then presented with the Honored Member of the Year Award. Bill is our secretary and keeps all the club's records. Bill is the man you can always depend on to do what he can for our club.

 

Our Member of the Year for 2020 is Javier Arrillaga. Javier created and maintains the GCMG website. He is the one who is the one who set up and ran our Zoom meetings. Javier emails our members with meeting reminders. He also maintains our Facebook group.  He is indeed our member of the year.

 

Every year we recognize one member, as being the magician of the year. This is the member who performs to perfection. This is the member who has mastered the art of magic. This is the member who is indeed a magician in every sense of the word.
This year the Magician of the Year was presented to Beau Broomall.

 

For the first time, the GCMG presented a Lifetime Achievement of Magic Award to a member. This member has devoted a large part of his life to magic. He operated a magic shop He has taught magic to adults and children. He is served the GCMG since its inception in 2005. He has served as an officer of this club for many years. He is the first to volunteer for club related events. He is an active member in the IBM and SAM. This member is Beau Broomall. The entire membership of the GCMG presented the award to him this evening.
